The Solution

Metacompliance Ltd develops Policy Management and User Awareness Software for Business and Government. Our innovative solutions automate the explosion of Compliance regulations and I.T Security awareness requirements that have become a significant burden on modern business. The MetaCompliance suite of software has been designed to ensure that Compliance awareness campaigns and I.T Security initiatives are adopted, understood and available to management in the event of a Compliance failure or I.T Security breach. The software aims to allow companies to easily implement and sustain the communication of policies, company guidelines, regulatory imperatives and I.T Security standards and controls.

The background

Until 2006, the company was part of the Intertech Group, which for 10 years has been a subsidiary of Intergraph Corporation, Alabama, USA. Intergraph Corporation (www.intergraph.com) is a global software developer of spatial and engineering software. Baronscourt was spun out of the group after Intertech was acquired by AIM listed Maxima Holdings PLC (MXM.L) and we took the decision to rename the company to reflect the growth of it's MetaCompliance suite of software.

With its International Headquarters in London and its software development center in Ireland, MetaCompliance has a focus on making Security Compliance easier for its customers. A key driver for the MetaCompliance solutions is our design requirement to reduce the complexity of Compliance and improve the effectiveness of I.T Security. Metacompliance develops solutions to meet the needs of all sizes of organisations in terms of complexity and scale. The MetaCompliance suite of Security Compliance products makes the automation of Policy communication and the generation of a best practice culture easier to obtain. Thus allowing companies to demonstrate compliance build better I.T Security defenses and show significant cost saving s over existing manual internal processes.

Metacompliance is a privately held company that has been well funded to deliver on its business goals. The company has an extensive product development strategy and is in the process of building its International Channel. The management has significant experience in the software development industry gained from large software development projects and from Intergraph Corporation.
