Metacompliance Ltd. would like to appoint a talented web developer / designer to focus on our new phase of development, a next generation software product which is based on the latest cloud technologies. UK Market Leaders in the IT Security and Compliance industry, we are a young dynamic company which places innovation at the core of the business. This strategy has resulted in considerable growth this year and the requirement to further expand our North West team.
The Web Designer / Developer will assist the Software Development Manager in strengthening our software portfolio. This is an opportunity to be involved in the R&D activities that result in software products that will be used by major public and private sector organizations. Rarely does an opportunity to be a key driver in new product development like this appear in the North West.
Unable to separate your passion for code from your love of design? The successful candidate will have experience designing and developing enterprise level web applications and software. This role will suit a proactive, results driven individual who can work to deadlines whilst maintaining a friendly, professional attitude.
Main Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Design and development of new MetaCompliance enterprise web applications.
- Support the existing software suite.
- Stage and test deployments.
- Drive process improvements and tool development to support the software deployment, installation and configuration process.
- Assist the Marketing team with the production of corporate marketing collateral and updates to company website.

Essential Experience
- Must have 3+ years work experience in a fast paced commercial environment
- Be capable of requirements definition, concept production, design, integration with code development and production.
- Experience working with Dreamweaver, Visual Studio, PhotoShop, Flash, XML, HTML, CSS and associated web technologies.
- Be comfortable with testing and subsequent documentation.
- Whilst not essential, candidates who can demonstrate familiarity with Silverlight, Windows Presentation Foundation or Windows Azure will be given preference.
Essential Qualifications
- Degree in Computing or Design.
- Web Design / Development for Enterprise level Web Applications.
- Strong problem solving and software troubleshooting skills.
- A historical portfolio, ideally viewable on the web.
