The Northern Ireland Guardian Ad Litem Agency adopts Metacompliance Policy Management Software to aid secure information sharing

The Northern Ireland Guardian Ad Litem Agency (NIGALA), have adopted Metacompliance policy management software to increase awareness of secure information sharing principles and target staff with relevant communications and policies. NIGALA are a 'voice' for children who are subjects of public law and adoption proceedings before the courts in Northern Ireland. It is essential that sensitive information relating to individual’s cases is handled using data protection principles and that staff are aware of their data handling duties. The guardian ad litem is an independent officer of the Court who is experienced in working with children and families.
