MetaCompliance showcased at Public Sector Enterprise ICT 2010
August 18, 2010
Metacompliance Limited is delighted to be a main sponsor of the 2nd
Annual Public Sector Enterprise ICT 2010 Conference , the UK's only
event to directly address the deployment of Public Sector ICT strategy
and its 14 strands of implementation. Enterprise ICT 2010 will address
issues from the key perspective of achieving strategic change by
aligning technology with the business objectives of individual
Government organisations whilst maintaining a uniform business model for
delivery.
Every year, the public sector spends some £16 billion on Information and Communication Technology (ICT). This conference will set out the Chancellor George Osborne's approach to reduce this, over the life of the strategy, in line with the Coalition's commitments to achieving Efficiency and Value for Money, meaning annual savings in the region of £3.2 billion.
Dedicated to sharing best practice and innovation in Business and IT across Local Authorities, NHS Trust, Central Government, Defence, Justice and Education - Enterprise ICT 2010 promises to be a strategic event for Civil Servants across the whole of the UK Public Sector.
Commenting on the event, Mrs. Lynn Jennings, Marketing Manager at Metacompliance, said “This key event in the Governments calendar is very timely for us to showcase our Information Assurance products. With Data Protection still at the forefront of the challenges for the public sector, MetaCompliance can automate user awareness of compliance thus leading to the required cost savings and a more efficient and secure service to the public”.
