Metacompliance maintains its software research and development centre in Northern Ireland and takes its relationship with the local community seriously. The company recently supported a local charity event. The Derry Well Woman has been providing an invaluable service for more than 25 years. The charity delivers a range of programmes and activities that tackle head-on the social issues that women continue to experience in 21st century society, namely social exclusion, isolation, and inequalities.
Derry Well Woman is a dynamic organisation that has developed strong partnerships with local and national support groups in projects linked to counselling services, mental health groups, and wellbeing programmes. They continue to support women and families in issues that are particularly prevalent in the local community, namely suicide prevention, domestic violence, and mental health. The partnership with Derry Well Woman follows the strong relationships that Metacompliance maintains with other local charities, such as Children in Crossfire.
“We are delighted to work with such a worthwhile organisation, the staff at Derry Well Woman commit their time to the local community and help local women deal with the stress and mental health problems that are commonplace in today’s society. That's why it's so important that support is available. We feel privileged to be part of this and hopefully are making a small difference to the lives of these woman.” said Judith O’Brien Financial Director at Metacompliance.
Metacompliance develops staff training software that aims to protect companies from the ever-growing threat of data breaches, with international crime gangs stealing highly valuable and sensitive personal information from organisations around the world. Metacompliance software, with its emphasis on engaging and educating staff on developing working practices related to tackling these everyday threats, creates a safer and more supportive working environment built on integrity, teamwork, and trust.
Susan Gibson, manager at Derry Well Woman, underlines the difference that this new partnership with Metacompliance will make: “In the current economic climate, it is becoming increasingly difficult to secure funding. This donation from Metacompliance is vital to supporting our work and ensuring we get the right services to women when they need them most. We are delighted that this prestigious local company is recognising our work and partnering with us.”
MetaCompliance has a clear vision of making Compliance and IT Security easier for organisations. The software can ensure the active participation of all staff in compliance initiatives such as policies, eLearning, and surveys, thus mitigating the risk of compliance incident and the associated fines. The software can be used to demonstrate that staff understand compliance obligations by being tested with questions. The ability to deliver increased user participation in compliance and IT Security campaigns provides the necessary audit information to generate reports that demonstrate the organisation’s “duty of care” to Regulators.
