Cyber Security company MetaCompliance have been honoured with yet another award nomination this year. In May, the company was nominated for the “Innovative Product of the Year” award at the Cyber Security Awards and much to their delight, they left the ceremony in June as winners. The winning product was their Cyber Security and Compliance Awareness Solution MyCompliance Cloud, which is an integrated user awareness management solution. The solution is cloud-based and incorporates modules such as Phishing, Policy Management, Knowledge Assessment, eLearning and Incident Management.

This time, a module of their integrated awareness management suite, MetaPhish, has been nominated at the 2016 Computing Security Awards in the category of “Anti-Phishing Solution of the Year”. The product is phishing education software which allows the administrator to simulate phishing and ransomware attacks to their staff and management. This ultimately helps increase employees’ sensitivity to fraudulent emails and mitigates risk. The product aids user awareness of phishing by providing a graphically rich and informative learning experience if they click a spoof email. This is very valuable to organisations seeking to reduce the number of malware and ransomware attacks via email. It also provides education at the point where the employee has gone wrong.

The Computing Security Awards ceremony will take place on October 13th at the Cumberland Hotel in London where judges, finalists, sponsors and guests will wait in anticipation to hear this year’s winners.

Robert O’Brien, CEO of MetaCompliance, commented:

“Our objective is to provide automation that allows our customers to mitigate the risk surrounding staff and cyber security. We have developed an innovative cloud product that provide all the functionality needed to manage staff awareness. I am delighted that we have been selected for these awards as it is recognition of the efforts of our development team”.
