Welsh Ambulance streamline Compliance Processes
Metacompliance a leading provider of Cyber Security and Compliance Awareness software solutions is delighted that The Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust has implemented its policy management software.
The trust serves a population of 2.9 million and they attend more than 250,000 emergency calls a year. To ensure their 2,576 dedicated staff which they consider their biggest asset remain at the top of their game and receive regular professional development the Welsh Ambulance have their own National Training College.
A solution was required by the ambulance service that would enable them to improve user awareness, and monitor compliance in Information Governance and Security related areas.
Craig Garner Information Governance Manager at the trust says that a key requirement “was to ensure that clinical notices and specific communications materials are being read and understood by specific staff groups within the organisation.” He went on to comment that “Metacompliance will allow us to streamline current processes and report on areas of non-compliance to improve organisational knowledge and provide assurance to the Board around these areas.”
