MetaCompliance attends the Cybersecurity Business Convention in Toulouse
Published on: 2 Dec 2025

MetaCompliance attended the Cybersecurity Business Convention (CBC) in Toulouse, France, for the first time on 26–27 November 2025. The event brought together security leaders, technology providers, and organisations from across Europe to discuss the realities of cyber risk and the practical steps businesses are taking to build resilience.
For us, CBC was an important moment. It marked our growing presence in France and the wider European market, supported by the establishment of our French office and an increasing demand for solutions that address the human side of cyber security.
Human Risk Management Takes Centre Stage
Across the two days, one theme came up repeatedly: organisations know that their employees are central to both risk and resilience. Many of the conversations we had with delegates reflected this shift. Businesses are moving from traditional awareness programmes towards more structured Human Risk Management, where behaviour, engagement, and measurable improvement matter as much as compliance requirements.
CBC offered a useful forum to understand how different sectors are approaching this challenge. Delegates spoke openly about the pressures they face, from managing phishing threats to building security culture across distributed or multilingual workforces. The appetite for practical, people-focused solutions was clear.
Showcasing Our Human Risk Management Platform
Our team spent the event demonstrating how MetaCompliance’s platform helps organisations reduce human-centred risk through targeted learning, behaviour-based insights, ongoing engagement, and integrated compliance management. Many delegates valued seeing a joined-up approach that covers automated security awareness, advanced phishing simulations, risk intelligence and analytics.
It was also encouraging to meet organisations preparing for the next generation of cyber security learning, including more realistic simulations and content that mirrors real-world decision-making.
Looking Ahead
Our first year at CBC was a valuable opportunity to understand the priorities of the French and wider European cyber-security community. The insights gathered will feed into our product development, customer engagement, and future event participation.
If you were unable to meet us at the event but would like to discuss how we can support your Human Risk Management strategy, we would be pleased to
continue the conversation.
