It’s been a busy 2018 so far here at MetaCompliance, with the introduction of several fresh faces to the team. Due to continued growth, additional staff were required across the company in various departments to help achieve our goal in developing our worldwide sales and market presence.
In the space of three months we have grown substantially, hiring over 20 people. In the coming weeks we will be introducing you to the newest team members, so let’s get to know the latest Compliancers a little bit better.
Rebecca Brown
Data Research Analyst
Rebecca, a former student of LJMU and NWRC has two foundation degrees, one in Natural Sciences and one in Art & Design, as well as briefly studying Wildlife Conservation and Fine Art. Rebecca has worked as a photographer after studying Fine Art, working locally and further afield in a Summer camp for diabetic children in Toronto, Canada. Rebecca joins the Sales Development team at MetaCompliance after working as a sales assistant for 4 ½ years. She joins the team at an exciting time for the company as they grow their business around the UK, EU and US. In her spare time Rebecca enjoys spending time with her son, relaxing and can’t resist a bit of retail therapy.
Damian King
Software Tester
Having graduated from Ulster University with a BSc Hons Computer Science (Software Systems Development), Damian joins MetaCompliance, as a Software Tester. In his role Damian find bugs and issues within the product range prior to deployment using automated and manual test methods, ensuring our customers are receiving the best products. In his spare time Damian enjoys playing golf, indoor football and travelling. “I have taken over organising a trip to Killarney every year for a small group which is now been going for over 25 years”.
Geraldine Strawbridge
Content Marketer
Geraldine graduated from the University of Glasgow with an MA in Applied Social Sciences before going on to obtain a PGD in Marketing at Glasgow Caledonian University. She went on to work as a PR Account Manager with Beattie Group, gaining extensive experience across a wide range of clients and sectors. More recently she has completed a PgCert in Digital Media Communication and was awarded the Science Shop Prize for Best Social Media Marketing Campaign by a postgraduate student at Ulster University. In her spare time, Geraldine loves nothing more than getting out and about in the outdoors and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Grainne Lockhart
Front End Developer
Grainne graduated from Ulster University with a BSc Hons in Computing. Grainne joins MetaCompliance with 10 year’s previous experience as a Front-End Web Developer and Team Lead having worked with London’s west end clients in the ticketing and theatre industry developing and maintaining high end websites and offering guidance and support to both clients and colleagues.
As a Front-End Developer at MetaCompliance, Grainne designs and develops the main corporate website of MetaCompliance. This involves designing, developing and testing new front-end images, graphics and web materials, and designing, developing and testing the back-end components and CMS that the website runs on. “I really enjoy how varied my role is on a daily basis. I get satisfaction from adding new functionality that helps the business thrive. My colleagues are great to work with and I know there’s always a helping hand if needed.” Grainne’s hobbies include spending time with her family and friends, catching up on TV shows and online shopping.
Conor Hanna
Software Developer
In his role Conor works alongside other developers implementing solutions, fixing minor code issues, testing and reviewing changes to the code. Each morning the team conducts a stand-up meeting to discuss work items, which helps plan their work load. Conor graduated from Ulster University Magee in Creative Technologies, then went on to achieve a Master’s in Professional Software Development. “There is a great team atmosphere and I’m doing something I love to do. Being surrounded by more experienced developers is helping me to become a better programmer, every day there is an opportunity to learn and work on something new.” Outside of work, Conor is a keen surfer (when possible) and enjoys fitness in general as well as online gaming.
Christine Crawley
Administrative Executive
Christine, a busy mum with three young children has a degree in Business Studies with Human Resource Management, which she obtained from Ulster University. Christine joins MetaCompliance as an Administrative Executive where she will provide administrative support to HR and Finance team, including managing incoming calls, booking travel and assisting in the arrangement of interviews.
Martin O’Neill
Software Developer
Martin brings a wealth of experience to the cloud development team, having obtained a MSc in Professional Software Development, BSc in Environmental science and a NVQ in Agriculture. As a part of the cloud development team, Martin is responsible for creating any new functionality required by our clients and resolving any bugs or issues clients find within the MetaCompliance cloud application. “I really enjoy the team atmosphere at MetaCompliance and having the opportunity to work with and learn from other experienced developers. I do a bit of development in my spare time as well and I am currently working on an android application. I also have a sheep and beef farm and play rugby.”
