It’s been a busy 2018 so far here at MetaCompliance, with the introduction of several fresh faces to the team. Due to continued growth, additional staff were required across the company in various departments to help achieve our goal in developing our worldwide sales and market presence.
In the space of three months we have grown substantially, hiring over 20 people. In the coming weeks we will be introducing you to the newest team members, so let’s get to know the latest Compliancers a little bit better.
Stacey Kavanagh
Sales Development Representative
Before joining MetaCompliance, Stacey worked at BT for 4 years in a number of roles, initially in Credit Referrals, then to Trade Sales, followed by Credit Management before moving into her role as a Fraud Analyst, where she obtained a TUFF Accreditation (Telecommunications and Fraud Forum) in 2017. “I’m really excited to be working on the other side of cyber security where I will be offering services to help combat the associated risks”. Stacey enjoys spending time with her daughter and also has a passion for theatre having worked in the industry for a few months in Canada.
Conor Page
Sales Development Representative
Conor comes from a strong senior management background in various industries including Hospitality, Recruitment and Customer Service. In his new role as a Sales Development Representative, Conor will work in our growing sales team contacting different organisations asking about their cyber security awareness needs and implementation. “I am a keen sport enthusiast and I am a father of twin girls. A fun fact about me is that I have been fortunate to meet 3 of my heroes, Nelson Mandela, Muhammad Ali and Pele”.
Donna Hutton
Training and Awareness Coordinator
Donna has over 10 years’ experience in the Community and Voluntary sector and has worked on a range of activities dealing with health, social and environmental issues. This experience coupled with her degree in Business has helped with coordinating and rolling out programmes and events and will assist her in her new role as Training and Awareness Coordinator with the team at MetaCompliance. As a Training and Awareness Coordinator, Donna provisions both trial access and new customer accounts, offers support and guidance to customers on using the MyCompliance Cloud platform and helps them to build a communication plan to their target audiences. Outside of work, Donna, likes to keep fit and enjoys outdoor activities, whilst also volunteering with the Pink Ladies Cancer Support Group.
Matthew Finlay
Training and Awareness Coordinator
Matthew has a BSc Hons Business Management and also a MSc Strategic Management. Previously Matthew worked at Fujitsu UKI where he was a Project Coordinator for 3 years and is PRINCE2 accredited. As a Training and Awareness Coordinator, Matthew will help deliver MetaCompliance’s Support and Implementation Services to our ever-increasing global customer base by delivering comprehensive training & awareness services on the organisation’s product & services. “I am a trustee of a mental health services provider – The Koram Centre and have been for the past 4 years. In addition to sitting on the Board as the Secretary of the Trustee Board I am the Chair of the Fundraising Committee responsible for implementing Fundraising Best Practice and overseeing and developing the needs of the centre as well as organising fundraising projects with a goal of growing the centres self-sustainability efforts.”
Gareth Irvine
Sales Development Representative
Gareth attended St. Columb’s College where he obtained his GCSE’s and A-Levels. He then went on to study Business Studies with Marketing at Ulster University achieving a 2:1. “I previously worked at First Source Solutions on behalf of Sky for just under 4 years as a customer service advisor and subject matter expert along with experience in call quality coaching.” As a Sales Development Representative, Gareth will be involved with contacting prospective clients, highlighting what MetaCompliance has to offer in terms of addressing their cyber security and compliance needs, resulting in the potential booking of appointments for his Enterprise Sales Manager. Gareth’s hobbies include playing football, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Anne Hassan
Customer Service Advisor
Anne attended Ulster University, Coleraine where she obtained her degree in BSc Hons Business with Media Studies. Before joining MetaCompliance, Anne most recently worked in Next as an office/sales consultant where she helped customers with all types of queries. “I feel this really developed my confidence in interacting with different individuals- I genuinely enjoy helping people and feel this will benefit me in my role as Customer Service Advisor in MetaCompliance. Before my role at Next, I worked in a local start-up called Nora & Katie Co. who design wedding and party accessories. I’ve always had a creative side and still like to draw in my spare time. I am a really family person and I also has a twin sister”. Anne joins the Customer Service team along with Amy, where she will be the first point of contact for clients that may have a question with our Cloud system.
